Planning permission to deliver a new neighbourhood park has been approved for Brent Cross South. Plans for Claremont Park – designed by Townshend Landscape Architects include a range of features such as new play areas, park furniture, a pond, fencing and shared pedestrian and cycling routes. Some key design elements include:

  • Space and equipment for exercise, play and leisure which caters for both young and old
  • A wide range of benches and picnic tables accessible for all
  • A fun and engaging trail which guides people on an exploration of the park
  • A pond designed with a decked platform to create an area for people to rest

Improving the play offer and other park facilities will ensure that the park attracts a wide range of users and becomes a dynamic and active community space for the existing and growing communities around the park.
