Three new independent brands join Brent Cross Town’s growing retail line-up

Retail mix continues to evolve as new food, service and leisure operators sign at the £8bn park town

Related Argent has announced Holybella, Stamp and Social Pottery as the latest retailers to sign at Brent Cross Town, reflecting continued leasing momentum at the £8bn park town being delivered in partnership with Barnet Council.

Together, the three independent brands will strengthen Brent Cross Town’s everyday offer, adding places to eat, meet, shop and create that support the rhythm of daily life for residents, workers and visitors.

They join a growing line-up of neighbourhood retailers at Brent Cross Town, including Karma Bread, GAIL’s, the Co-op and Always Gladice, as the new high street and surrounding public spaces continue to take shape. The new additions build on Brent Cross Town’s ambition to create a neighbourhood where daily amenity, leisure and social activity are all within walking distance.

Holybella will bring its all-day Mediterranean-inspired hospitality offer to Brent Cross Town, serving breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner alongside a dedicated patisserie offer. A family-owned business with existing locations in North Finchley, Muswell Hill and Southgate, Holybella will introduce outdoor café culture and al fresco dining to Neighbourhood Square, mirroring the plazas found across Europe.

Stamp, the new retail brand from UOE, will provide a mix of everyday services and a modern retail offering. Alongside full Post Office services, open seven days a week, including banking, travel money and passport checks, the store will stock stationery, cards and gifts, as well as offering printing, copying and scanning services. The new store will also feature Stamp’s Tech Hub, providing mobile and tech services designed to help customers stay connected.

Social Pottery will add a distinctive creative destination to Brent Cross Town’s leisure line-up. With existing locations in Kentish Town, Westfield White City and Balham, the Brent Cross Town venue will offer pottery painting, wheel-throwing and creative workshops for individuals, families and groups. Its arrival broadens the neighbourhood’s experiential offer, complementing existing retailers while providing a new amenity for residents, workers and visitors.

Turkay Ozkan & Ozan Donmez, Directors of Holybella, commented: “We are incredibly proud and excited to be bringing Holybella to Brent Cross Town. As a family-owned independent business that has grown within North London, this feels like a very special next chapter for us. For us, Holybella has always been about much more than being a café. We work hard to create a place where people feel genuinely welcome and looked after – somewhere with the warmth and familiarity of home, where great food is matched by thoughtful, personal service. We want our guests to come in for a coffee or breakfast but leave feeling that they have been cared for.

From our breakfasts and brunches to our homemade cakes and patisserie, alongside carefully crafted coffee, everything we serve is shaped by our Mediterranean roots and our passion for quality. We’re excited to bring that same warmth and outdoor café culture to Neighbourhood Square, to grow alongside the Brent Cross Town community and create a Holybella that people will hopefully come to think of as a little home away from home.”

Charmaine Rees, Senior Asset Manager, Related Argent, said: “A key part of our retail strategy has been to create opportunities for independent businesses alongside more established brands. We would like Brent Cross Town to be a place where smaller operators can grow and where the retail community and visitors encounters reflects the individuality and character of the neighbourhood. Holybella and Social Pottery have already built loyal local communities through their existing north London locations, while Stamp brings a trusted independent business with essential everyday services. Together, they add something genuinely distinctive to the high street, from food and hospitality to creativity and convenience. As Brent Cross Town continues to grow, we’re focused on curating a mix of businesses that not only serve the needs of residents, workers and visitors, but also help create a neighbourhood with its own identity and sense of place.”

Elliot Jacobs, CEO and Postmaster, Stamp added: “As thousands of new residents and workers move into the brand-new Brent Cross Town development, they’ll need access to services — including the broad portfolio from the Post Office. We are delighted to offer this as part of the Stamp Brent Cross Town store where we will also offer a modern extensive range of cards, gifts, wrapping and stationery, plus printing, scanning, photo services and more, all under one roof. New town centres like this are a rare chance to get the high street right from the start — and for us, that means making sure the services people rely on most aren’t an afterthought, but designed in from the beginning, in a space that’s genuinely a pleasure to use. It’s exactly what Stamp was built for, and we can’t wait to be part of Brent Cross Town’s story.”

Marian Walteros Founder, Social Pottery commented: “Opening Social Pottery at Brent Cross Town is an incredibly exciting step for us. Since starting the business in 2017, our aim has always been to create welcoming spaces where people can step away from everyday life, get creative and genuinely connect with each other. Our new Brent Cross Town studio brings together the best of Social Pottery under one roof, creating a space for families, friends, date nights, celebrations and corporate groups. We are particularly excited to become part of Brent Cross Town at such an early stage in the development of the neighbourhood. We want to grow alongside the local community and become a place people return to again and again. For us, pottery is the vehicle, but connection is at the heart of what we do. We can’t wait to open our doors and welcome Brent Cross Town and the wider North London community.”

Brent Cross Town is being delivered by Related Argent in partnership with Barnet Council. Once complete, the new neighbourhood will provide 6,700 homes, workspace for 25,000 people, a new high street and 50 acres of parks and playing fields, connected by a new Thameslink station 12 minutes from central London.

The emerging retail and leisure offer will play a central role in creating an active, mixed-use neighbourhood, supporting the growing residential community.
