Related Argent has announced a series of new retail lettings across two of its Build-to-Rent developments Ferry Island, Tottenham Hale and Author King’s Cross further strengthening the day-to-day amenities available to residents and the wider community.
Building on the existing offer at Ferry Island, Related Argent has secured four occupiers, totalling over 10,000 sq ft of retail across the ground floor.
Among the new arrivals is Harvest N17, London’s largest independent organic grocery retailer. The family-run business will operate two units: one providing its signature grocery offer of seasonal produce, artisan bakery and specialist health products, the other dedicated to coffee and flowers.
The food and beverage offer will be further strengthened by Hale Table, a new all-day dining concept from the founders of the popular East London neighbourhood restaurant Clapton Table, serving European, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern-inspired dishes, alongside The Sushi Co, the fast-growing London-based Japanese restaurant group, which will open a new restaurant serving freshly prepared sushi, poke bowls and hot Japanese dishes.
Completing the quartet is Dream Nails, an established nail and beauty brand with seven salons across London and Essex, bringing professional beauty services to Ferry Island. There is one unit left to lease.
At Author King’s Cross, Related Argent has secured four occupiers, totalling 9,500 sq ft, with one unit left to lease, across the ground floor. The new retail offer is led by Alma, an independent café and all-day brunch destination. Complementing this food and beverage offer is Nailology, a nail and beauty salon, while residents will also benefit from the convenience of Simply Fresh, a premium grocery store, and MePlace, a top-quality nursery and activity club for children.
Across both developments, the new retailers have been carefully selected to complement the resident experience, reflecting Related Argent’s approach to curating ground-floor uses that support thriving neighbourhoods. Together, they will create vibrant frontages, increase footfall and strengthen the surrounding neighbourhoods through a diverse mix of food, convenience, wellbeing and family-focused uses.
Related Argent now manages more than 1,200 rental homes across three London developments, including Author King’s Cross, The Maple at Brent Cross Town and Ferry Island at Tottenham Hale, with a further 900 apartments in the pipeline. The business is on track to deliver 3,000 more rental homes by the end of the decade, building on the established residential operating expertise of Related Companies in the US.
Sarah Goldman, Commercial Asset Management Director, Related Argent, said: “We are delighted to welcome this range of new retailers to Author King’s Cross and Ferry Island. As a developer-owner-operator, we take a long-term view of how our places work and curating the right mix of uses on the ground floor is a critical part of that. It is about creating a genuinely useful place, supporting local footfall and building the kind of everyday loyalty that helps places remain vibrant and resilient over time.
Across our Build-to-Rent portfolio, we want residents to have the services and amenities they need close to home. These new retailers help deliver that – whether it’s somewhere to meet for coffee, pick up groceries, drop the children or make time for wellbeing.”
